The world-famous 540-km trail passes through Kaş. The best day-hike legs are in this article.
The Lycian Way is a 540-km waymarked trail from Fethiye to Antalya, ranked among the world’s best long-distance routes. Kaş, right at its midpoint, is one of the most pleasant bases along the way.
The classic day-hike is the Kaş–Limanağzı leg: it starts above the ancient theatre and descends along sea-view paths to the coves, where you can return by water taxi. For a longer walk, continue towards Fakdere.
Spring and autumn are the ideal seasons. Bring plenty of water, a hat and sturdy shoes; the trail is marked with red-and-white paint flashes.
